The Most Anticipated Wedding Dress This Year!

Meghan Markle has always been our style icon. Her style is minimalistic, sophisticated and consistent. She often opts out from patterns and chooses simple, flowy and feminine silhouettes. Same with colour, no craziness, shades perfectly matching her complexion. Without a doubt, her ongoing style can be easily transferred to her new royal wardrobe to meet very strict dress code.
When it comes to her Royal Wedding, there was no surprise. She looked absolutely stunning and for us, that was the best royal wedding dress ever!
The bespoke dress chosen for the ceremony was designed by Claire Waight Keller for Givenchy. Beautiful bateau neckline, three-quarter length sleeves, flowy lines embracing her flawless figure, it was a pure perfection in its simplicity! Magnificently complemented by delicate 15ft veil made from silk tulle with subtle trim of hand-embroidered floral pattern in silk threads and organza. The headpiece was Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau, loaned to Megan for the occasion by the Queen Elizabeth II.

For wedding reception, she chose a dress designed by Stella McCartney. Made of silk crepe, halter neck gown might seem plain and simple yet it’s ultra chic and refined. With slightly messy bun and statement earings, Meghan looked absolutely stunning!

There’s no doubt, The Duchess of Sussex’ style is timeless and elegant and we look forward to her new looks.

One Pair Of Shoes You Need Right Now!

It doesn’t matter if you just started updating your AW17 wardrobe or you’ve just finished. There is one pair of shoes you need to buy right now. Especially before Christmas, time of parties and celebrations. And I am talking about red over-the-knee boots. An absolute must-have. You can wear a simple black dress with it or go for a total red look, choose whatever you like but if you call yourself a Fashionista, you need to have them in your closet RIGHT NOW! Happy shopping 🙂

Skirts You Need In Your AW17 Wardrobe

Happy International Skirt Day Fashionistas! There is no better way to celebrate than to talk about current trends in skirts.

I was never a girly girl and I feel sorry for my Mum now as I believe that every woman feels super excited when learns that she’s going to have a baby girl. They already visualise their daughters wearing super cute dresses and skirts… but this never happened to my Mum. I was an absolute tomboy and there was no way of forcing/convincing me to wear anything different than shorts, trousers or leggings. In my own defence, I have to say that I just have male cousins I grew up with and it was very practical, can you imagine climbing a tree or playing football in a skirt? However, something changed in my early 20s and suddenly I started buying more and more dresses and skirts and now I basically live in them. I know, a bit too late for my Mum to enjoy it but better late than never! If you always felt reluctant to wearing skirts, it’s time to change it! Here’s Fashionista’s guide to AW17 trends:

Patent leather / vinyl skirt. Looks best in mini length and styled with chunky knit or simple turtleneck.

Checked / plaid / tartan print skirt. Length and style doesn’t matter. It may be mini, midi or maxi skirt. Pencil, a-line, wrap or frill, this print looks fab in all of them and is super versatile. For best results, style it with same print blazer!

Metallic pleated midi skirt. Might be a bit overwhelming for everyday outfits, however when styled with knits or just plain simple top, it becomes a perfect casual piece. For a wow factor before Christmas celebrations, style it with metallic blazer or studded biker, it’s time to shine!
